Well, if you have not launched the app yet, you have two options :
- You wait some time before launching and trying iPhiGéNie. So the free month is partly before your trip to test. You'll not get a GPS position while out of French territories, but you can load and look at maps to schedule your trip. Then, when you come in France you get a GPS position on that maps.
- Or else, and it is the only option if you launched iPhiGéNie already, you can only be in the first case : looking at maps with no localization. This is the major point to test however : quality of maps, fluent panning and zooming, etc. Then you'll love it and jump for the annual subscription !
You must understand that having a full month of trial is not so obvious for the French iGN, and I'm currently battling to keep it that way.
BTW, as a remainder of the (often unread) warning on the AppStore page : if you buy the full feature module Vmax, it will be useless after the free month expires. Then you need a valid subscription in any case.
